Hey guys!

It's been like a month since I didn't wrote a new journal entry, but well, I don't really have anything new in my life in general. Anyway.

Next week it's the St-Jean-Baptiste, the holiday every person from Quebec is waiting for (not really). Since I live in a village with patriotic beliefs, I organize a party at my place, but now I don't know if it's really gonna happen. A friend of mine ditched me to go celebrate it in Montreal (with Pauline, a new friend of her probably - ohohoh if it's not our friend jealousy), which is TOTALLY not as awesome as my patriotic village (and she knew I had a party since I announced it and my birthday party back in March). Two other persons may not come because of an unknown reason, they didn't really told me why. And the ones I wanted to see the most probably can't make it because the grandmother of the girl who'd giving the ride to four other people wants the car to go celebrate the St-Jean at Magog.

Seriously.

What kind of bad luck is that? ;^; It was planned long time ago and now up to the three quarter of them can't come! ;^;

I want to play SSBM until blood come from my eyes and I forget all about that freakin' badluck of mine...

But, on a happier note, I have a free day from my job to attend my friend's birthday party at La Ronde. I can't wait!

OTAKUTHON

From July 31th to August 2nd, there's the only convention that feels like home to me: Otakuthon. It's the first one I went (it was in 2007) and since, I go up to three conventions per year. Well, I try. One in Montreal, one in Ottawa/Gatineau and one in Toronto. I can't afford going at a fourth one, but one day, I'll ditch Anime North and go to Anime Boston. Or I'll go to SakuraCon. Or maybe I just won't go to any american (and here I mean american from the USA) conventions and save for JapanExpo. I'd love to go there. I mean, it's in France, I love France, I've always wanted to go to Paris.

I'm off topic now.

Otakuthon. I'll be part of the staff, maybe volunteer, an artist in the Artist Alley along with some friends, perhaps panelist too, I'll propably participate in the Masquerade with my Camus cosplay (I'm currently searching for a girl who wants to cosplay Erika, August or Wilheimine from Meine Liebe and who's willing to do the Masquerade with me), I'll have a PAP (Priority Access Pass - That means I have priority for some activities (but probably that it won't be of any need, because I'll be in the AA and in the Masquerade =____= ), and a sunday brunch ticket - that means I'll probably have the chance to talk to *pikminlink and give her her portrait. I'm really anxious about it. What if she doesn't like it? What if I was just too full of myself? I spend many hours on it, I even bought a frame with glasses (you know, you have two glasses and your drawing between them)... Argh I'm so anxious about it ;^;

I also hope I can take a picture with her, with myself cosplayed as Kafei. It'll be such an honor! I want her autograph on something, I don't know exactly what, but something.

I have offered ~Bloodfourne to stay at my place during Otakuthon. I hope she can make it!
